The Loess Hills Prairie Seminar team strives to work with local food vendors and to provide gluten-free and plant-based options for attendees. Information about this year's vendors and meal ingredients can be viewed below.

 

Meal Ingredients List

Saturday Lunch

Baked Potato Ingredients List: (Sour cream and butter packets will be available on the side) 

Omnivore Option: extra-large baked potato, chicken, bacon, grilled onions, and cheese (Gluten Free)

Vegetarian/Vegan Option: extra-large baked potato, broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots (vegetables cooked in olive oil) (Gluten Free)

Assorted Dessert Bars: Gluten Free

Saturday Dinner

Includes drink choice: Lemonade, Iced Tea, Coffee, Water

BBQ meal option: Gluten Free if you choose to not take a bun with meat

Grilled Chicken Option: grilled chicken breast

Beef Brisket Option: smoked beef brisket

Smoked Mac and Cheese: Gluten Free noodles. Contains: dairy products--cheeses, milk, and butter

Buttered Green Beans with Bacon: green beans. Contains: bacon, butter

Lettuce Salad: various dressings and toppings available

Fruit Salad: grapes, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, kiwi, banana, with a peach glaze

Smoked Peach Cobbler Dessert: Gluten Free

Soup and Salad Option: (All of these options are Gluten Free and will receive the Smoked Peach Cobbler dessert as well)

Soup: tomatoes, red onion, extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, partially dried basil, ground sage, ancient fine sea salt, ground black pepper

Omnivore Salad: Romaine lettuce, chicken breast, grape tomatoes, cheddar cheese, hard boiled eggs, crumbled bacon, avocado, garlic powder, onion powder, ancient fine sea salt, dried dill weed, dried parsley, freeze dried chives, ground black pepper, fresh lemon juice, almond milk, organic coconut oil. Contains: milk, eggs

Vegetarian Salad: chickpeas, spinach and spring mix, grape tomatoes, tahini, English cucumber, water, medium pitted green olives, fresh lemon juice, crumbled feta cheese, red onion, apple cider vinegar, garlic, dill weed, ancient fine sea salt Contains: sesame

Vegan Salad: Romaine lettuce, grape tomatoes, fresh lemon juice, water, red onion, carrots, raw sunflower seeds, bell pepper, apple cider vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, Dijon mustard, ancient fine sea salt, ground black pepper, fresh mint, white beans
